2016

The inaugural East Africa Water Summit was held at the Sarova Stanley Hotel on the 24th and the 25th of November 2016. The event was graced by the attendance of the Chief Guest, H.E. Governor Benjamin Cheboi, Governor of Baringo County, Kenya and the Chair of the Water, Forestry and Mining Committee at the Council of Governors. Also, in attendance was the Secretary of Water Services, Engineer Lawrence Simitu among other key invited guests from the government and private sector.
2017

The 2nd East Africa Water Summit was held at the Sarova Panafric Hotel on the 23rd and the 24th of November 2017. The event was attended by several stakeholders both from the water sector and the energy sector. The objective of the 2nd EAWATERS was to bring the key stakeholders in the water sector to one meeting for the purpose of sharing relevant information for improving energy efficiency in the water sector.
2018

The Doshi East Africa Water Summit was organized to address the issue of access to sustainable water for socio-economic development, by bringing together key stakeholders in the water industry, and providing a platform for them to interact, share, discuss and develop solutions to critical issues affecting the water sector within the East African region.
2019

The 4 th East Africa Water Summit was a hybrid private-public sectors initiative to bring together stakeholders in the water and sanitation industry in the East African region, for the purpose of sharing relevant experience, knowledge and technology to address the issue of sustainable water and sanitation in the face of climate change.
2020

The 5th East Africa Water Summit came at the height of the global Covid-19 pandemic and was a hybrid conference convening a number of in-person delegates and the majority following the proceedings online. The summit was themed “Accelerating the achievement of Water and Sanitation for all in the face of the Pandemic”.
2021

The 6th East Africa Water Summit was held at the Sarova Panafric Hotel on the 2nd and the 3rd of December 2021. The event was attended by stakeholders both from the water sector and the energy sector. The theme of the 6th EAWATERS was “Sustainability in Collection, Treatment and Storage of Water and Sanitation

The 7th East Africa Water Summit was held at the Kenya Water Institute on the 30th to the 2nd of December 2022. The event was attended by stakeholders both from the water sector and the energy sector. The theme of the 7th EAWATERS was “Sustainable water resource & sanitation development for socio-economic transformation”
